Newcastle Breathing Circle

Jenny's Breathing Circle was amazing! I had been struggling with finding compassion in my work and during the breathe I had a big realisation. It was such a light bulb moment for me and the next day I went to work and everything was different.

Newcastle Breathing Circle is open to anyone interested in Conscious Connected Breathwork. Held monthly so that people can come together and create a personal connection with the power of their own breath in the presence of the group. A powerful, nurturing and loving space for letting go of body memories that get in the way of you leading a full and amazing life.

Held on the last Wednesday night of each month, the Breathing Circle coincides with a global breathing initiative that brings people together in this way in countries all over the world at around the same time to breathe one breath.

Where: Newcastle Health Collective, 19 Queen Street, Cooks Hill 2300
Time: 6.30pm - 9pm
Cost: $50 + BF $2.95


A small group of 8 to create a beautiful connection.

~ Breathing Circle opens with a silent or guided meditation/attunement and  each session provides space for group participants to share experiences and breathe together.

~ Individuals set a personal intention to breathe and participate in a simple ritual to honour the sacred energy of the breath.

~ The Conscious Connected Breathwork circle is an opportunity to bypass what you think you know and connect your body, mind and spirit through your breath. A deeply personal experience and at the same time supported by the small and intimate group.

Breathwork helps you connect to your body and go to the core of the issues that present themselves to you every day.

Breathwork could be for you if you are feeling:

  • stressed and anxious all the time?* overwhelmed with life?
  • a sense of somehow being incomplete; that something is 'missing
  • of numbness or flatness; of just going through the motions
  • of hopelessness, apathy and indifference; like a spark is missing
  • a sense of being disconnected from life or what is around you; as if you are living in a dream
  • feeling lost, indecisive and aimless
  • procrastination; time wasting; or finding it hard to sustain focus or effort
  • a lack of confidence and self-belief
  • of having a strong inner critic who puts you down and is always on your back
  • phobias and anxieties; fearfulness
  • addictions or other compulsive behaviours and/or thought patterns
  • a sense of never having really recovered from a past event
  • repeatedly returning to a person, location or behaviour that is unhealthy for you
  • inability to move on from an issue or event, despite efforts to do so
  • finding it hard to (re)invest in the future with enthusiasm and optimism
  • of grief, fear, anger or rage that you cannot seem to shake off

Contraindications:

For your first breathe you will be asked to complete a registration form. This is to ensure you have the best opportunity to breathe and follow you own process and provides me information so I can provide support during the breath cycle. The information is confidential and for use by the facilitator only.

DECEMBER THEME - Surrender

As 2019 approaches its end, its a good time to remind ourselves of the value in surrender and trust.

Throughout the year, cycles of manifestation have been put into action. Some things have come into form, other things have yet to be brought into being...so the final stage of our manifestation work is to relax and surrender control. Know that what is for our highest good is coming our way, whether we feel it yet or not.


Some people say "I'll believe it when I see it!" but that is no act of faith in the process...this months Breathing Circle is an opportunity to galvanise your trust and commitment into an act of surrender...this is the point where your highest good can actually reach you, because you have truly made yourself available to what is ready to come into form.


Questions you may want to breathe into this month include:


* Which areas of my life am I resisting trust and attempting to control with my mind?

* What would me life look like if I surrendered to the flow, and trusted life more deeply than ever before?

* What are my pay offs for staying stuck / remaining in control of the process?

* How might I gently start to let go and let flow take me? : )


So...lets give up the need to know...and surrender into the FLOW!


NOVEMBER THEME - Kindness

With World Kindness Day on 13th November we will be inquiring through the breath about kindness in our world.

Questions to ponder:

1. How have you felt when you have been shown true kindness in your life?
2. Is kindness something you practice on a daily basis with others?
3. What does being kind mean to you?
4. Is it possible that you have not been as kind to yourself as you could be?
5. What would be the best that could happen in your world if you were to be kind to your self first?
6. Do you wonder why kindness does not show up in your world?


OCTOBER THEME - Personal Power

A breathe which uncovers our relationship to our personal power - an opportunity to release any blocks or fears we might be harbouring - conscious or unconscious. 

Questions that you may wish to breathe into this month include: 

1. What is my definition of personal power? How does my power express itself?
2. What would my life look and feel like if I stepped into my personal power more fully? 
3. How am I suppressing my power? Breathe out the reasons one by one.
4. What exercises / practices / spiritual resources / rituals can I commit to as a way of developing my personal power? 
5. Now that I am powerful, how can I be of service to myself, my community and this Planet that I love? : ) Future pace to a time and place where you have fully embodied your potential - notice how you can really make a difference in the World now that you are no longer cutting back your energy or sabotaging your results. 
I would have to say if you are searching for that deeper connection and are ready to do the work......Jenny's sessions are the place to be. I find group work quite powerful in that it exposes participants to greater movements of energy and Jenny is a beautiful, insightful facilitator who provides a safe, nurturing, healing space.
